Application:
For symptomatic treatment of complaints related to gas in the stomach or intestines, such as gas buildup (flatulence) or swelling and feeling full.

Espumisan is used to treat children of 6 years, adolescents and adults.
ESPUMISAN Dosage
For symptomatic treatment of gas, stomach, or bowel complaints, such as gas build-up (flatulence) or swelling and fullness:
Children from 6 years, adolescents and adults 2 capsules (equivalent to 80 mg simethicone) 3 to 4 times a day
When preparing for an imaging examination of the stomach and intestines, such as X-ray and ultrasound:
The day before the survey
2 capsules 3 times a day (equivalent to 240 mg of simethicone in total)
The morning of the survey day 2 capsules (equivalent to 80 mg of simethicone)
It is not recommended to take Espumisan in children under 6 years and newborns. Other pharmaceutical forms are suitable.

Take Espumisan during or after a meal and, if necessary, at bed time.
Note: It is also possible for Espumisan to be taken after surgery. Take it as long as you have complaints.
