What Sab simplex is used for:

Sab Simplex is used for the symptomatic treatment of flatulence and as an aid for preparing for diagnostic examinations of the gastrointestinal tract. It can also help reduce foam in the gastrointestinal tract after accidental ingestion of washing preparations.

Before using Sab Simplex, it’s important to know the following:

• Do not take Sab Simplex if you are allergic to the active substance (simethicone) or any other ingredients listed.
• There have been no observed interactions with other medicines. However, inform your doctor or pharmacist about any other medicines you are taking, including non-prescription ones.
• Sab Simplex can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• It does not affect the ability to drive or use machinery.

Instructions for using Sab Simplex:

• Infants: Add 15 drops (0.6 mL) to all bottled food or administer with a small spoon before breastfeeding.
• Young children: Take 15 drops (0.6 mL) during or after a meal, with an additional dose before bedtime if necessary.
• Schoolchildren: Take 20-30 drops (0.8-1.2 mL).
• Adults: Take 30-45 drops (1.2-1.8 mL).
• Take a dose every 4-6 hours and adjust as needed.
• It is recommended to take Sab Simplex after a meal and before bedtime.
• Shake the bottle well before use and turn it upside down to drip the solution.
• The dosage for specific examinations may vary.

Storage:

The contents of product include simethicone as the active substance, along with other ingredients such as sodium citrate, citric acid monohydrate, sodium cyclamate, saccharin sodium, carbomer, hypromellose, raspberry flavoring, vanilla flavoring, polyethylene glycol monostearyl ethers, distilled water, sodium benzoate, and sorbic acid.

Sab Simplex is available in an amber bottle with a dropper, containing 30 mL of white to greyish white or yellowish suspension with vanilla and raspberry flavoring.
