Pharmatex Description:

Pharmatex serves as a topical contraceptive, significantly reducing the risk of pregnancy while not completely eliminating it. Its effectiveness relies on strict adherence to usage guidelines.

Suitable for women of childbearing age, especially those unable to use birth control pills or intrauterine devices. It can be used during breastfeeding, postpartum, or around menopause. In cases of missed pills, it can be combined with another contraceptive method until the end of the cycle. It can also complement the use of intrauterine devices, particularly when taking regular medications like nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Please refrain from using Pharmatex vaginal tablets if you are allergic to benzalkonium chloride or any of the ingredients. Avoid combining them with other vaginal medications or soaps unless medically advised. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have any concerns or uncertainties.

Additional Pharmatex precautions:

• Avoid using soap after intercourse, as it can neutralize the spermicidal effect. Rinse with clean water instead.
• Wait at least two hours before performing vaginal douching, using only clean water.
• Use the tablets regardless of your menstrual cycle stage.
• Refrain from using the product if there is genital lining damage after a previous application.
• Finish any other vaginal treatments before starting this medication.
• Inform your doctor or pharmacist about any other medications you are taking, including non-prescription drugs.
• Do not use soap or other vaginal products concomitantly, unless medically indicated.
